Creator Chiaramonte & Marin’s observational design approach reimagines images seen in the world as industrial objects. The designers create a foundation using a low-profile metal base. In a bold yet airy column, slim metal rods shoot up towards the ceiling in a scaffolding-inspired grid. Just as work lights dot a scaffolding to help construction workers, so does this piece to guide one’s eye. The blown glass globes charm in silhouette and produce a relaxed, diffused light.
