The Plot Frame LED Linear Suspension from Vistosi is an abstract homage to oriental bamboo scaffolding, topping one’s table surfaces with a graphical silhouette. This suspension’s reflection of the real world reflects design studio Chiaramonte & Marin’s observation and industrial approach to design. The studio reimagines the intricately wrapped bamboo scaffolding as fine metal rods that create a sharp perpendicular frame. Radiant blown glass globes dot the frame like brilliant work lights scattered around an in-construction building. Where the globes are plotted translates to a dynamic glow that sweeps across the room.
One of Italy’s most prestigious and prolific names in Murano glassmaking, Vistosi specializes in hand-blown glass lighting fixtures with an expertise that can be traced to the 1500s. Officially incorporated as Vetreria Vistosi in 1989 with the Moretti family, Vistosi continues to invest in new technologies and methods of production compatible with the historical craft, resulting in an extensive collection of highly decorative yet durable lighting designs.
