Vistosi design studio’s work centers on combining modern form with ancient glass-making techniques. The pendant puts this combination in focus by using a near-disappearing suspension of ultra-fine wire. The pendant’s shade is mouth-blown according to tradition. The shade presents itself in a classic tapered drum form, whose familiar lines are appreciated across home styles. Lamping concealed inside sends a pleasant down glow through the wide opening and a soft, accenting one through the glass surface.
